The Summit Lock Mountain Climbing Rope Dog Lead was first developed as a strong lead for large dogs. However It's lightweight design actually makes it suited to dogs all of sizes.

Our climbing dog lead rope has been developed in Snowdonia, North Wales. We have extensively tested the lead on lake paths, steep mountains and muddy trails.

It is made to be strong using authentic climbing rope and a locking climbing carabiner made in Wales with the pursuit of being a great climbing rope dog slip lead.

Each lead is created and finished in our workshop by our small team. It takes one person around 4-5 hours to handmake, carefully test and hand finish every Gogarth lead. This means you can make your dog lead long or even create the best lead for strong pulling dog.

Each mountain climbing rope dog lead is carefully handmade and every join tested carefully in our workshop before being finished. We use professional wall rope designed to be handled repeatedly. Modern rope construction techniques, rigorous testing and stringent safety guidelines mean that the climbing rope we use has never been so strong, light and durable.

The Gogarth Summit Leash can be used in extreme weather and on almost any terrain. It also works well in busy and hectic urban environments where close control of your dog is needed.

The leash measures 120cm in length. The leash can be made shorter by tying a single knot half was down the leash reducing the overall length of the lead by approximately 10cm to 110cm. A second knot can be made to reduce the leash to 100cm overall. These knots can be undone at any time making the lead longer again instantly.

At the end of every lead is a locking climbing grade carabiner developed by humans for humans and used every day in professional rock climbing. This quality assures the carabiner is ultra strong, will last and last and is super durable. Each carabiner comes with its own warranty and is designed and made in Wales.

A locking carabiner clips on quickly and easily but can also be 'locked' by twisting a thread built into the carabiner. Once locked into place securely the carabiner forms a solid shape with no gaps.
